Junior Site Reliability Engineer

Mission

Join our maintenance and system administration team in India. This role will be responsible for executing ongoing system maintenance schedules, coordinating DRP exercises, and assisting in release management.

Duties:

• Executing maintenance schedule
• Coordinating DRP Exercises
• Troubleshoot during production incidents
• Accept Mentorship from Senior Team Members
• Demonstrate Practical Knowledge in two of the following areas: Release Management, Web Application Development, Linux Administration, Network/Data Center Operations, Source Control Management, Database Administration/Migration(NoSQL and SQL)
• Contribute to design and strategy conversations
• Participate in off hours on-call rotation
• Participate in 1st/2nd level on hours support rotations
• Enforcing compliance requirements
• Manage cloud costs

Individual Outcomes:

• Can plan, estimate, commit, and execute on current sprint’s deliverables
• Can onboard in 30-60 days from hire date.
• Taking to a full complement of points in each sprint
• Comfortable soloing off hours on-call rotation
• Comfortable with most response plays for on-hours support and delivering within SLA
