Accounts Receivable Analyst

What is this role?

As the Accounts Receivable(A/R) Analyst for Cirkul, you will work with the Shared Services Supervisor and contribute to a key area of growth for the organization. You will be a member of a strategic and enterprising team that’s responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

What does an average day look like?

• Driving Results: Effective tracking of sales, customer invoice processing and related receivables utilized by senior management in this high growth business.
• Taking Ownership: Own Accounts Receivable reconciliation and follow-up, application of payment receipts and other responsibilities assigned by management, raising hand as necessary.
• Making Decisions: Rise to the challenge in handling areas such as the gift card liability entry and reconciliation and other matters of financial significance.
• Cultivating Relationships: Work effectively with the Sales Department and other business partners to help facilitate efficient high-volume transactions.
• Instilling Trust: Effectively respond to internal/external inquiries with customers, retailers and colleagues.
• Customer Focus: Assist in the implementation of new procedures enhancement and strengthen internal controls. In doing this there is an expectation of identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.

What background should you have?

• 1+ years working in Accounts Receivable(A/R) or Shared Service Dept.
• Experience in a CPG industry, working with retail customers
• Highly proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
• Meticulous time management skills, ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Prior work with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues is a plus
• Process improvement of finance, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) experience is a plus
