DeFi Content Associate

The company is building a suite of composable margin-based exchanges. Its flagship product, launched five months ago, has already facilitated over $1 billion in trading volume, attracting 15,000+ users and $15 million in market-making deposits. Backed by industry leaders, the company is pioneering accessible leveraged trading and market making. With a proven market and strong investor support, it's focused on delivering exceptional products and customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Create and post short and long-form content for social and community platforms (Twitter, intern Twitter, Discord, etc), from tweets, blog posts, technical threads, strategic announcements, and more.
• Manage day-to-day operations of social and community platforms, including strategizing and coordinating distribution of new content and social listening surrounding Avantis.
• Interact and engage in online conversations with our community on our social channels.
• Ideate and execute growth strategies for our social channels that show understanding of crypto trends and meme culture.
• Adhere to our brand standards, voice, and tone throughout all external communications made on our social and community channels.
• Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to align internal marketing and branding efforts.

Requirements

• Be a DeFi native trader / LP (perp DEX experience preferred). We really cannot overstate this - you’ll be joining a team of DeFi nerds, and highly recommend that you can demonstrate knowledge of crypto ecosystems and trending topics
• 2+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
• STRONG writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and clear copy
• Familiarity with social media and social marketing platforms and tools
• Ability to work independently and cross-collaboratively across teams
• Organized, proactive, strategic thinker, driven to achieve results

Bonus points for:

• Experience with technical writing
• Experience with graphic creation and/or direction
• Self sufficient and comfortable developing new approaches
