About The Job:

The Compliance Analyst is a key player in ensuring EasyPost adheres to regulatory requirements, internal policies, certifications, and industry standards. This role requires expertise in compliance, risk management, and audit practices, with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks such as SOX, SOC Trust Criteria, GDPR, ISO, and HIPAA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels. The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring regulatory developments, conducting compliance audits, and assessing the impact of regulatory changes. They will assist in implementing compliance automation tools, developing and updating policies, and completing audit preparation work, fieldwork, and report generation. Additionally, the role involves identifying enterprise-wide risks and coordinating mitigation projects across many different organizational units.

What You Will Do:

The essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

o The Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization operates in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, compliance certifications, and industry standards.

o This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret and apply complex standards and regulations.

o Monitor regulatory developments, changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the organization.

o Assess the impact of regulatory changes and update compliance policies and procedures accordingly.

o Conduct compliance audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

o Assist in the implementation of compliance automation tools.

o Prepare audit findings reports and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement action plans for remediation.

o Assist in developing and updating compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines based on regulatory requirements and best practices.

o Ensure policies are communicated effectively to employees and stakeholders

About You:

o Experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or related roles.

o Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, SOC, GDPR, ISO, AML, HIPAA).

o Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.

o Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.

o Proficiency in Google Workspace (GSuite) and other compliance management software/tools (e.g. Vanta, Audit Board).

o Proactive individual with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and extraordinary attention to detail.

o Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively under pressure and excellent organizational and time management skills are essential.

o A critical thinker and problem solver to understand the details while also keeping overall program objectives on track.

o Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
