About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer in test to join the quality team and help with the development of manual and automated test cases for Matterport Platform which serves billions of requests a month . We are looking for someone who is passionate about software quality and who can lead both manual and automated testing efforts.The ideal candidate is an individual who thrives on new challenges, possesses a strong enterprise and web testing background.

What you will do:

• Take ownership of long range planning, and lead end-to-end and cross-functional integration tests
• Collaborate closely with development and testing teams in an Agile environment to define the test cases required to verify the functionality of Matterport’s cloud platform
• Lead proof of concept efforts using software and hardware to enable faster testing and releases of Matterport applications
• Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases
