Responsible for every aspect of the audit engagement including audit planning, risk assessment, audit procedures, evaluation of evidence and assisting clients in preparation of their financial statements, note disclosures, and any required additional schedules.

Requirements

Must have an understanding of financial reporting standards; experience working directly with clients; Excel, QuickBooks and ProSystem fx Trial Balance and Engagement software skills; the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be able to multi-task and work on multiple complex projects simultaneously. Experience with governmental accounting, auditing, and software is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related disciplines is required. CPA license is strongly preferred for higher level roles. A minimum of two years of public accounting experience including performing financial statement preparation and audits is required.
