As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing multiple projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for leading a team of project managers and engineers, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, meet client requirements, and adhere to industry standards. This role will involve collaborating with clients, project teams, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide strategic direction and oversight for all projects, ensuring they align with the company's goals and values.

Lead, motivate, train and mentor project managers and engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring project delivery meets or exceeds expectations.

Manage resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to optimize project performance.

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Enforce high-quality standards, compliance with industry regulations, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring projects are completed within budget.

Monitor project timelines, identify delays, and take corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.

Evaluate staff's performance against their set goals, provide constructive feedback, and discuss areas of excellence and improvement during the annual performance reviews.

Encourage and drive innovation in project design, development, and execution, staying abreast of emerging engineering trends and technologies.

Provide regular status reports and project updates to senior management and clients as needed.

Key KPI’s:

Grow revenue of the PM team in line with annual targets

Zero loss making projects, maintain minimum of 2.5x multiplier

Average client feedback 4+ out of 5.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
• Professional engineering license (PE) is highly preferred or membership to a professional organization (e.g., PMP, RICS)
• Minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in engineering project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. The expected salary can increase depending on the skills and qualifications.
• Evidence of running a team of project managers
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and team collaboration.
• A solid understanding of engineering principles and practices, relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
