As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will...
- Design, implement and operate the AWS infrastructure on which our serverless ecosystem runs
- Evaluate and implement AWS infrastructure automation solutions
- Support the engineering teams with creating secure and reliable cloud applications
- Promote, mentor and facilitate best cloud practices within Engineering
- Challenge the status quo and continuously improve the production environment
- Review and improve the existing backup / disaster recovery processes
- Enhance our observability capabilities and maintain high reliability standards
Requirements
- Fluent in English; capable of expression yourself clearly both speaking and in writing
- Excellent knowledge of AWS infrastructure, AWS multi-account strategy and Landing Zones
- Experience with AWS services: IAM, CloudFormation, CloudFront, CloudWatch, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Route 53, and AWS WAF
- Familiarity with serverless architectures
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and an agile mindset
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role
Nice to have's:
- Experience with SRE
- Experience with Cloudflare
- Experience with AWS CDK
- Experience with AWS X-Ray
- AWS professional or specialty certifications
