Right now, we’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Account Director to join our growing team, working with our partner networks and publishers to deliver results that satisfy our clients business objectives as well as working closely with the Affiliate Director to pitch and on-board new clients and grow our own business. The client portfolio includes leading brands in fashion, beauty and tech.

This is the perfect role for an experienced network side candidate who wants to step into a multi-channel agency and gain a more complete view of client marketing activity whilst leading a team of specialists. The affiliate department is one of fastest growing, and the successful candidate will be a key player in helping us continue to establish ourselves while growing the agencies affiliate activities.

As the role will see you working across international territories, additional language skills would be a bonus but are not essential to the role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for managing and coaching your team to deliver on expectations
  • Foster direct reports’ growth and performance; assign appropriate responsibilities to direct reports, using performance management tools as a guide
  • Leverage affiliate and network relationships to create opportunities for improved ROI, incremental revenue growth, and increased exposure across multiple affiliate sites
  • Maximize visibility and training to key internal teams so they have a solid knowledge base and can effectively identify opportunities for Affiliates
  • Senior oversight and management of a portfolio of UK and international clients. This will include managing programmes through network partners and account managers, as well as managing programmes directly through tech partners such as Partnerize and Awin
  • Leading on client strategy, strategy implementation and forecasting performance
  • Carrying out short term and long term planning and tactics with your team in order to achieve client objectives
  • Assisting with new business proposals and pitches
  • Working to ensure smooth new programme launches and migrations after new business wins
  • Building and managing relationships with publishers
  • Daily checks and reporting on client business
  • Identifying new trends and opportunities for clients to capitalise on
  • Researching seasonal sector trends and new geo market insights
  • Post-campaign analysis and reporting to client
  • Managing the performance and development of direct reports

Requirements

  • Experience with at least one of the following network platforms is essential - Partnerize, Impact, Awin, CJ, Rakuten or similar
  • Highly organised and efficient approach to work, able to prioritise effectively and keep track of multiple tasks and projects, whilst managing others
  • Good communicator - able to effectively interpret client briefs, and clearly communicate details of partnerships, promotions, campaigns with partners and publishers. Able to clearly set expectations and communicate issues or delays to clients, fellow team members and other internal stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to maintain and grow strong relationships with clients, publishers, and business partners
  • Experienced in dealing with one or multiple affiliate platforms and technologies
  • Adaptable and confident. We work with multiple platforms and technologies and are always looking to increase our knowledge and expertise in the department
  • Experience and knowledge of either influencer marketing or B2B marketing would be beneficial
