Staff Therapist - Specialized in Serving LGBTQ-identified Students (80% on site; up to 20% remote); 9-month position

About Us: At Brandeis University, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students. Our Brandeis Counseling Center (BCC) team plays a crucial role in promoting mental health and providing essential support to our diverse student body.

Responsibilities: As a therapist specialized in servicing LGBTQ-identified (i.e., Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning) students, you will:

• Provide clinical counseling services to Brandeis students with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ communities and other historically marginalized groups. Clinical services include individual therapy in a short-term, solution focused model, crisis intervention, group therapy, and providing Community Therapy at The Gender and Sexuality Center at Brandeis.
• Conduct outreach programs and workshops to promote mental health awareness.
• Collaborate with other university departments to create a holistic support network, such as with the Gender and Sexuality Center.
