Join our team at Moss as a Senior Business Operations Manager (f/m/d)! Business Operations is our universal taskforce for Moss’s financial services operations.

In this role, you will work closely with our Head of Business Operations, COO, and stakeholders across all areas of Moss, including Operations, Product, Commercial, and Regulatory Functions. Positioned at the intersection of various internal and external stakeholders, this role offers you a unique opportunity to become an expert in the FinTech ecosystem and significantly impact the success of one of the fastest-growing FinTechs in Europe.

Your responsibilities

No day is the same at Moss, but here’s an overview of your core responsibilities:

  • Business Operations: Support with everything from optimizing day-to-day processes (e.g. identify and resolve friction points in our onboarding funnel) to carrying out high-priority initiatives tackling the most important strategic or operational questions (e.g. preparation of market expansions) for our financial services business.
  • Partner management: Manage a selection of core strategic partners for our financial services business (e.g. Mastercard) end-to-end, owning purchasing, commercial negotiations, performance management, relationship building, joint projects and day-to-day operations.
  • Executive support: Support Management of our financial services institution as part-time chief of staff, focusing on organisational, strategic and change initiatives (e.g. new feature launches).

About you

We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • You gathered experience in both concept-driven (e.g. strategy consulting, investment banking, venture capital) and hands-on (e.g. start-up) environments
  • You have a proven track record of independently driving a broad range of initiatives (i.e. personal contributions, not contributions of teams or projects that you were a minor part of) that delivered significant impact to your organisation (i.e. measurable impact on your organisation’s goals, not just deliverables)
  • You have strong communication skills in English (C1). German is a bonus.

  • Business-savvy: You have a clear understanding of what drives a business’ success, have a natural sense for numbers, and excel at building strong hypotheses when confronted with unclear issues. You have a natural inclination to delve deeper and understand the intricacies of situations.
  • Structured: You are highly organized and don’t let details slip through the cracks, ensuring you are consistently on top of your tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong Communicator: You have excellent written and oral communication skills. You can engage stakeholders at all levels of an organisation and tailor your communication to be convincing and appropriate for different audiences.
  • Relationship Builder: You are skilled at managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You reflect on your actions and are capable of changing roles as needed to maintain effective interactions across a wide variety of stakeholders.
