David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a multinational financial services company specializing in online trading that is seeking to onboard a Head of Business Development to join their team.

The ideal candidate must have experience with Business Development and IBs in the Thai region, must know the market trends in the Thai region and must be able to build and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners (IBs). Ideally if the candidate has already existing partners (IBs) that can introduce to the company will be considered as a major advantage.

Location: Thailand

Work model: remote from Thailand

Employment type: Full-time, Service Agreement

Remuneration: Base salary + bonuses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Head of Business Development for Thailand will be responsible for driving the acquisition and development of partnerships and leading teams to achieve the company’s business development goals. This role involves creating and implementing strategies to expand market presence, aligning regional initiatives with corporate objectives, and fostering strong relationships with key partners.
  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new partnerships and develop existing ones.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the team for the Thai region.
  • Develop and implement the business development strategy in alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Identify and prioritise key markets within Thailand for business expansion.
  • Collaborate with other heads and departments to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the regional teams, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.
  • Set clear and measurable KPIs for the team and regularly monitor progress. • Analyse partner's data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders on business development activities and results.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with partners to maximise their potential.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or any other relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, with a leadership role in the Forex, FinTech, Crypto industry or other related industry.
  • Excellent command of the Thai and English language.
  • Strong understanding of the Thai market and cultural nuances.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial markets and preferably foreign exchange markets.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of Business Development professionals.
  • Great communication and writing skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills and confident phone conversation abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • Strong negotiation and pitching skills, and great listening skills.
  • Problem-solving with a positive, can-do approach.
