About the Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering, Core Platform Team at WeSalute. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the critical systems that power our organization. This is an opportunity to work on a high-impact team, building scalable and robust solutions that drive our business forward. You'll collaborate closely with talented engineers, product managers, and designers to shape the future of our technology landscape.

What You'll Do

• Design and Develop: Architect, build, and maintain core components of our platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• API-First: Design, develop and deliver OpenAPI Specifications for feature and component development.
• Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
• Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective support.
• Optimize: Continuously improve our codebase and development processes, advocating for best practices and new technologies.
• Mentor: Share your knowledge and expertise with other team members, helping them grow and develop their skills.

Bonus Points

• 5+ years of experience with Typescript and NodeJS
• 5+ years of experience with PHP, NextJS, NestJS, or Express
• Familiarity with Drupal and content management systems
• Familiarity with API Design and Management
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design ("DDD") and Hexagonal Architectures
• Familiarity with Subscriptions, eCommerce, and Customer Data Infrastructures
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and its suite of services
• Proficiency in using GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines

Reliable Internet Access Requirement

WeSalute employment requires you to have reliable internet access, specifically high-speed internet, for the successful execution of your work responsibilities. During the interview process, you may be required to demonstrate that your current internet connection is dependable and possesses sufficient bandwidth to facilitate effective performance within our Remote Workspace. This evaluation will be conducted using Cloudflare's Speed Test, and you will be required to provide a screenshot of their connection as evidence. Team Members are granted the flexibility to work from any suitable location as part of their employment with WeSalute, provided they consistently meet the established Internet Access Requirements and the internet connectivity metrics are consistently achieved.
