As the newest member of our team, you will be managing and optimizing our technology platforms and providing support to your team members. You have at least 3 years of Microsoft tech stack experience with Windows and MacOS, along with basic network administration. This is a unique opportunity to support our IT infrastructure, establish best practices, drive improvements, and take on new challenges as the company grows. You are comfortable working with some level of ambiguity and willing to jump in wherever you can to help the team. Here’s some of what needs to be done:

  • Mastering the daily activities of our productivity platforms, network, communications, and other office systems
  • Providing technical support to the team, including laptop configuration, updating apps, troubleshooting, and resolving issues
  • Conducting ongoing planning of information systems, recommending changes and updates to meet business needs
  • Assisting in forecasting, tracking, and managing hardware and software costs for financial planning
  • Collaborating with security consultants and managed service providers to maintain security standards and company requirements
  • Coordinating IT-related projects, communicating outages, bugs and supporting your users
  • Working in a hybrid environment – home office, company office in Lakewood and collocation in Denver
  • Pitching in wherever you can to support the team!

Requirements

And what it’ll take to get it done:

  • Education in computer information systems or information technology and 3+ years of experience as an IT support specialist
  • Experience in a Microsoft-centric environment as well as mainstream platforms like Powershell, Connectwise and Autotask
  • In-depth knowledge of network administration, security protocols, and IT best practices
  • Technically savvy with an understanding of computer hardware and ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues for both PC and Mac
  • Comfortable supporting remote staff and managing hybrid work environments
  • Ready to take on increasing responsibilities as the role evolves
