Payroll Specialist

With Intelligence is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team for a fixed term contract. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and managing all aspects of payroll for our employees. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, handle employee payroll inquiries, and maintain compliance with relevant payroll laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in payroll for a large global organisation with awareness of GDPR and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Manage and maintain employee payroll records, including timecards, tax withholdings, and deductions.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax forms, and compensation.
• Stay up to date with payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and making any necessary changes to processes.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to relevant authorities as required.
• Collaborate with finance and HR teams to ensure accurate reporting and proper integration between payroll and other systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information and handle sensitive data with discretion.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll processing or payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
• Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Previous experience of using ADP payroll software preferred
• Professional certifications in payroll or human resources management would be advantageous.
