Management Consultant - Financial Services

The role as a management consultant in our Financial Services team is an opportunity for you to play a key role in solving our financial services clients’ most complex challenges. We work across banks, insurance, pension, mortgage, payments, fintechs, financial infrastructure and regulators.

We are looking for experienced consultants who can take leadership and responsibility for further developing our business within digital transformation in the financial services sector. This role will blend business strategy, product knowledge and technology, offering you a platform to influence the direction of top-tier financial institutions. We expect that you have strong competencies and experience within several of the following areas:

• Knowledge and understanding of the lifecycle of financial services in one or several banking domains (e.g. credit, investments, payments, regulatory reporting, finance, financial risk management, financial anti-crime etc.).
• A strong consulting toolbox – project management, experience in project planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects related to critical business systems e.g core banking/insurance systems, customer life-cycle platforms etc.
• Ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and cost optimisation goals.
• Analytical mindset to assess current capabilities, identify improvement areas, and drive strategic sourcing decisions.
• Familiarity with core banking systems, payment infrastructure, and other financial services technologies.
• Understanding of IT architecture principles and systems integration.
• Proven experience in IT outsourcing, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and managing outsourcing relationships.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations based on analysis and insights.
• Leadership skills to guide project teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive collective outcomes.
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior consultants or team members.

Requirements
