Job Description: The client is seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Controller to join their team in Berlin. As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, you will be responsible for increasing shareholder value through developing and implementing financial and operational strategies for their Berlin site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the financial direction for the Berlin site, including business planning and financial forecasting
• Provide strategic financial advice to the site lead and key stakeholders
• Manage all aspects of cash flow, focusing on Net Working Capital improvements
• Drive continuous process improvements leveraging digital technology
• Oversee month-end procedures, reconciliations, and variance investigations
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
• Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
• Lead the annual financial audit and maintain IFRS compliance
• Collaborate with other company facilities on AR & AP management

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior financial role within the pharmaceutical or related industry
• Strong understanding of IFRS and German tax regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Leadership experience and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Fluency in English and German
