Financial Accountant

Overview:

• Financial closing for standalone and group consolidation
• Preparation of monthly tax reports in cooperation with local tax advisors.
• Exchanging information with the local tax advisors, auditors, banks and lawyers.
• Accounts payables management.
• Liquidity planning and management.
• Inter-company invoicing
• Making wire transfers (for incoming invoices, salaries, taxes)

Responsibilities and duties:

• Conduct monthly financial closings for multiple entities, including Quandoo GmbH as the global headquarter of Quandoo Group, with detailed analytical review. Review bookkeeping done by an external accounting firm and provide necessary instructions.
• Ensure compliance with German GAAP and prepare the annual financial statements for filing
• Primary point-of-contact for auditor requests for the German entity
• Preparation of tax returns with the support of external tax experts. Primary point-of-contact for external tax experts and tax examination
• Reviewing the cost center mapping as part of the monthly closing procedure
• Liaising with other teams in the Finance department
• Cash management of Quandoo GmbH by forecasting the funding needs for the next month...
