The Legal team at Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS) advises both internal and external stakeholders on the forefront of cryptocurrency and its constantly evolving regulatory landscape. Our job is to ensure the company continues its rapid growth by employing sound and efficient judgment to support operations around the company and influence a groundbreaking industry as it matures and becomes more widely adopted.

As an Associate Contracts Administrator on the CGS Legal team, you’ll provide support and advice on a wide range of legal and contracting matters. You’ll build strong relationships with key stakeholders across business and revenue teams, and support collaboration on the company’s go-to-market efforts. You’ll develop an understanding of how government acquisition regulations and processes intersect and relate with Chainalysis’ products, services, and business model. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and is interested in the intersection of technology sales, law, and government.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Review and brief a wide variety of contracts and agreements, including SaaS and Professional Services agreements, partner agreements, teaming agreements, NDAs, and subcontracts agreements, with public sector customers (e.g., FedCiv, DoD, IC, SLED), quasi-public sector customers, and the commercial entities that support these customers, e.g., solutions integrators, prime and subcontractors, and partners/resellers
  • Assist with reviewing and determining viability of RFQs, RFIs, solicitations, and contribute to proposal responses, OCI determinations and mitigations, and representations and certifications
  • Gain an understanding of product, data security and privacy risk matters to understand how it impacts discussions/negotiations with potential customers during negotiation, and in many other contexts
  • Assist with the implementation of regular training sessions with the relevant CGS teams
  • Support CGS’s compliance efforts and the implementation of our compliance program
  • Prioritize delivering an exceptional internal client and external customer experience, while promoting scalable processes and procedures

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience supporting contract formation and contact administration (and understanding of the sales process) at a B2B SaaS company or within the U.S. public sector

  • A sense of initiative and independence, along with the judgment to know when to ask for support in escalating issues

  • Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have experience:

  • Knowledge of U.S. public sector procurement laws, regulations and procedures, including FAR and agency supplements, state and local procurement processes and rules, and other terms applicable to the direct and indirect sale of commercial SaaS and related professional services
  • An understanding of the cybersecurity requirements applicable to commercial cloud providers (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD SRG, CMMC, ICD 503, and NIST controls) is a plus
  • Familiarity with or interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry is a plus

This role is ineligible for visa sponsorship.

Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
