Labour Attorney

We are currently looking to grow our team with a Labor Attorney ⚖

Responsabilities:

• Provision of legal advice to all internal departments of all locations, especially Human Resources and Management, on generic legal matters;
• Provision and monitoring of risk analysis on Labour issues, main focus on Navarra and Valencia branch's;
• Draft, revision and approval of legal documentation related to employee lifecycle management and employer (e.g. employment contracts, HR policies, company guidelines, etc.);
• Monitor and report on national Labour regulatory trends;
• Support on the implementation of Volkswagen Group's labour-related policies and regulations;
• Management of external counsel on Labour and employment issues;
• Support for draft, revision and approval of workplace compliance policies;
• Support on disciplinary actions;
• Support on adaptation of internal policies to internal regulations, as well as collective agreements;
• Supporting role in negotiations with employee representation (e.g. Workers' Council);
• Liaise with supervisory authorities or public institutions, when necessary;
• Generic support to the Integrity, Risk Management, Compliance and Legal Department in Iberia.

Requirements:

• Academic background in Law or relevant areas;
• Between 3-5 years of previous experience as a lawyer (in-house/company environments is a plus);
• Spanish Bar Association (with active license) is mandatory;
• Effectively manage tasks and deadlines independently, in order to meet the company needs;
• Capacity to communicate with different level of stakeholders, decision-making, project management and negotiating skills.
• Availability to travel between Valencia and Navarra offices;
• Advanced English is mandatory.
