What You Will Do:

The candidate will support strategic initiatives and operational activities at Guidehouse Clients. This position will be responsible for advising senior-level Client relationships, implementing strategic initiatives, executing long term programmatic planning efforts, strategically responding to emerging priorities, and operating within matrixed teams within a Client Office.

This Position will

• Advise on cloud strategy for government clients in assessing cloud alternatives, migration strategy, procurement strategy, identifying a suite of applications for cloud, and achieving optimization of economics, compute, storage, scale, performance, and redundancies.

• Develop supporting in-depth analysis that will include economic feasibility assessments via business case development on enterprise cloud architectures.

• Advise on overall strategy and alignment with modernization of Client IT infrastructure including cloud, hybrid, and on-premises solutions with provisions for security, low latency connectivity, and mobile service delivery.

• Develop an application rationalization strategy, a cloud migration approach, and a cloud assessment framework to optimize Client IT workloads in a hybrid or multi-cloud environment.

• Provide analysis and oversight for technical processes to provision cloud-based service models and related hosting environments for use within the enterprise.

• Support the development and use of governance frameworks for cloud management along with provisions for security, data protections, privacy, and relevant safeguards.

• Support the oversight of cloud and datacenter O&M activities and provide reporting on the status and reliability of cloud-based services and hosting environments.

• The candidate must be a strong written and oral communicator and be comfortable interacting with clients and serving as confidant of senior consulting leadership.

What You Will Need:

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public Trust.

• Bachelor's degree.

• Minimum of TWO (2) years of management and/or technology consulting experience.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Minimum of TEN (10) years of management and/or technology consulting experience with SEVEN (7) years of project and/or program management experience.

• Existing TSA or DHS Suitability.

• Experience supporting federal government customers and/or prior experience within the federal government.

• Relevant certifications including but not limited to: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Agile Scrum-master certification, SAFe certification, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification, IT Service Management (ITSM) certification, or IT Asset Management (ITAM) certification.

• Showing extensive program management skills including the ability to liaise with technical and business teams and clearly articulate technology concepts to business audiences.

• Demonstrated experience of hands-on experience providing writing support, go-to-market support, and interfacing with prospective new clientele as it relates to the field of technology management, IT strategy and/or analytics.

• Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills targeting all levels of an organization and across business and technical functions leveraging visualization platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, Powerpoint).

• Manage acquisition policies, processes, procedures, and requirements. Oversee, develop, and provide contract and procurement policies, processes, procedures, and requirements.
