Social Compliance Manager

Overview:

ELEVATE is looking for a talented Social Compliance Manager to assist various customer outsourcing programs. The position will support the customer as a project manager in China to drive social compliance and responsible sourcing initiatives. They will work in partnership with the Senior Manager and other teams to meet customer expectations and execute against our statement of works obligations.

Responsibilities:

• Be a representative for Social Responsibility team in China to build strong relationships with client core factories
• Improve supplier onboarding journey by introducing to company’s Social Responsibility Guidelines and Policies and visiting newly onboarded sites.
• Work directly with factories to implement corrective actions, with a focus on de-escalating critical issues
• Support Gender Equity and Respect Roadmaps development
• Formulate supply chain strategy on social insurance improvement for client factories
• Establish feedback mechanism between client and suppliers
• Provide a feedback mechanism between company and factories
• Develop Supplier Ownership Scheme for regular visit to core supplier sites
