Apprentice Assistant Accountant

Codurance is a leading software consultancy that believes in empowering businesses through the use of technology. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Assistant Accountant to join our finance team.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Assistant Accountant at Codurance, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop your skills in finance and accounting. You will work closely with our finance team, assisting with various financial tasks and learning about financial processes in a professional setting whilst studying for your AAT Level 3 qualification that our training partner will provide.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Process and reconcile financial transactions
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports
• Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Help maintain accurate financial records and databases
• Assist with other ad-hoc finance tasks as required

Requirements

• Degree or qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field
• A strong interest in finance and accounting
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good numeracy and analytical skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in finance or accounting (including internships or part-time roles) is a plus, but not required
