We are looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant to join the Finance team eager to make a quick impact on the team. The successful candidate will take part in our day-to-day operations and will work directly with business partners across the organization for month end close and corporate reporting. We’re looking for organized thinkers who can juggle multiple projects and think of new ways we can improve our current processes. What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare/review biweekly and monthly payroll runs for US and global payroll Work closely with the HR department to ensure new employees and terminated employees are reflected properly in the payroll system.
• Analyze changes from prior payrolls.
• Create Payroll journal entries.
• Reconcile Payroll reports.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all payroll and commissions matters.
• Review tax reporting such as W2, T4, 940, 941s.
• Determine and post payroll liabilities and deferrals at month-end.
• Support all auditors requests that are related to compensation.
• Work closely with payroll providers to ensure smooth and timely operations as well as accurate data.
• Set up variable pay attributes in the commissions system for new employees.
• Own the commissions calculation system.
• Incorporate commissions plan changes into the system.

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with 7+ years of accounting experience in a similar position.
• Experience in GL, payroll liabilities, tax, and payroll expenses.
• Experience running international Payroll Previous work experience in the SaaS industry is a must.
• Familiarity with commissions plans and the impact on the monthly calculations.
• Understanding and experience working with financial statements audits.
• Strong written, oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work products.
• Open minded, looking to create efficiencies and eager to learn.

Nice to Haves

• Quickbooks and CapIQ experience is a plus.
• Commissions deferral knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Vistra experience is a plus.
• Rippling experience is a plus.

$102,400 - $150,000 a year

The base salary range for new hires in this role is between $102,400 and $150,000 for a level 4. The salary ranges are

determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for

new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and

additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more

about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
