Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for evaluating financial data, creating reports, and providing recommendations to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of financial modeling, data analysis, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis: Collect and analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability for the company overall, departments, and projects, to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance, conduct scenario analysis, and support strategic planning.

Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, analyses, presentations, and dashboards for internal stakeholders and senior management.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts and provide insights into variances and corrective actions. Work with teams to identify ways to increase gross profit margin on jobs.

Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct risk assessments to support investment decisions.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather financial data, understand operational processes, and support cross-functional projects. Facilitate constant communication with operations team to help ensure all are on the same page.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management or special projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, including significant experience in advanced financial modeling and strategic planning.

Proficiency in Excel and Quickbooks Online.

Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
