Medicinal Chemist

Lunella Biotech Inc. is looking for a Medicinal Chemist (MSc or PhD) with excellent knowledge of modern organic synthetic methods to contribute to the synthesis of new pharmaceutically active molecules to combat a particular disease or condition.

This job requires practical experience of carrying out multi-step synthesis and purification of complex small molecules. Good working knowledge of characterization of small molecules using standard analytic NMR and LC-MS techniques are also desirable.

Your work will be supervised by a senior scientist.

You will be working closely with other scientists within a project team, who will carry out biological evaluation of the compounds that you've created to assess their effect towards specific targets such as mitochondrial homeostasis.

Responsibilities:

• Under minimum supervision carry out the synthesis, purification and characterization of your target molecules.
• Organize your own time and daily synthetic activities in the lab with assistance, if needed.
