Technical Sales Representative

Hire Resolve is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our client in Johannesburg. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services to clients in the assigned region. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure regular contact and communication through business reviews.
• Monitor and report on competitor activities.
• Manage customer pricing and route-to-market strategies.
• Build and maintain sound business relationships through regular interaction.
• Communicate effectively with customers at various levels and with all stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure prompt processing of customer claims.
• Assist customers in developing products to actively promote the company brand.

Requirements

• Matric and National Diploma in Food Technology or Sales & Marketing.
• Solid 3-4 years of technical background in food/ingredients and experience in sales, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Valid Code 8 Driver’s licence.
• Sales-focused with strong customer relationship-building skills and attention to detail.
• High ethical values, professionalism, and maturity.
• Willingness to work outside normal working hours.
• Team player with a strong, confident, and assertive personality.
• Ability to take initiative.
