We are seeking a highly skilled and technically adept Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for our customers, providing them with the technical guidance they need to successfully implement and optimize Uptime.com’s solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand their unique requirements, architect tailored solutions, and ensure seamless integration and performance of our platform in their environments.

What you'll do:

  • Technical Consulting: Work directly with customers to understand their technical needs and challenges. Provide expert advice on how Uptime.com’s products can be customized and deployed to meet their specific requirements.
  • Solution Design: Architect and implement custom solutions that integrate Uptime.com’s monitoring tools into the customer’s existing infrastructure. Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with best practices.
  • Implementation Support: Assist customers during the onboarding and implementation phases, providing hands-on support to ensure successful deployment. Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise and work to resolve them quickly.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, guiding them through technical evaluations, proof-of-concept projects, and ongoing optimization. Maintain a strong relationship with customers to ensure they are fully supported.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development and to coordinate on complex implementations.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, implementation guides, and best practices, to support both customers and internal teams.
  • Training and Enablement: Conduct training sessions and webinars to educate customers on how to get the most out of Uptime.com’s solutions. Provide ongoing technical enablement to ensure customers can fully leverage our platform.

Requirements

We are in search of a talented individual who possesses the following qualities:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role within the SaaS industry, preferably with experience in web performance monitoring, observability, or IT infrastructure.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in web technologies (HTTP, DNS, SSL, etc.), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and familiarity with monitoring tools, APIs, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Problem-Solver: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems before they impact customers.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in presenting and demonstrating technical solutions.
  • Customer-Centric: A deep understanding of customer needs, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that drive customer satisfaction and success.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
