Role and Missions — What you will do 🚀

As a Senior Game Artist, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual experience of one of our most popular released games. Collaborating closely with our internal studio located in Montpellier, you will bring creative visions to life, ensuring that our games continue to captivate and delight players worldwide. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the artistic quality and consistency of our games, while also pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling in the casual puzzle genre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modeling: Transform 2D concepts into both high- and low-poly 3D models, with a focus on maintaining an organic cartoon style that aligns with our game’s aesthetic.
• Animation: Develop basic object and particle animations, demonstrating a strong understanding of weight, balance, and form to enhance gameplay dynamics.
• Unity Integration: Seamlessly integrate 3D assets into Unity, ensuring that they work harmoniously with the game’s mechanics and provide an optimal gameplay experience.
• Optimization: Optimize 3D assets for mobile platforms, balancing performance with visual quality to ensure smooth and engaging player experiences.
• Lighting and Rendering: Contribute to the creation of realistic lighting and rendering effects, enhancing the overall visual appeal and immersion of the game.
• Problem-Solving: Engage in both technical and aesthetic problem-solving, addressing challenges creatively to deliver high-quality assets on time.

Requirements

Experience:

• Proven track record experience in creating both 2D and 3D assets, as well as visual effects.
• Strong background in UI design and animation, with a portfolio that demonstrates your skills.
• Extensive experience in the Casual Puzzle genre, with a deep understanding of its visual trends and expectations.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in artistic software such as Photoshop, Maya, Blender, and/or other 3D graphics and animation tools.
• Demonstrated experience with Unity, particularly in asset integration and optimization for mobile platforms.
• Strong ability to create realistic lighting and rendering in 3D environments, enhancing the visual narrative.
• Attention to detail in texture mapping and the creation of various material types to achieve the desired outcomes.

Soft Skills:

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, consistently delivering high-quality content.
• Strong sense of ownership and autonomy, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
• A good cultural fit with our company, showing a humble spirit and passion for pushing boundaries.
