Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Managing end to end bank transaction reconciliation process and cash management
• Processing month-end journals and assisting with month-end closing, such as gateway payments, prepayments, fixed assets, intercompany accounts
• Preparing month-end financial reports
• Assisting with payroll through preparation of calculations and processing changes
• Working with external tax advisors to prepare direct and indirect tax lodgements
• Assisting with the yearly financial auditsIdentifying opportunities for process improvement, standardization and/or automation
• Ad-hoc involvement in wider finance team projectsLiaise with different departments to resolve accounts related queries

What do I need?

• CA/CPA qualified Accountant or close to completing qualification
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Accounting
• Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or commerceBasic understanding and knowledge of Australian Accounting StandardsAttention to detail with an ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
• Proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a focus on making things better
• Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc) skills
• Experience with Netsuite, Coupa and Employment Hero (desirable not essential)

We are located on the 27th Floor SM Aura Office Tower, 26th Street corner McKinley Parkway, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
