Systems Engineering Co-op

Our Maritime Acoustic Systems team plays a pivotal role in General Dynamics, driving innovation and excellence in Sonobuoy Processing Systems. As a MAS team member, you will assist in carrying out activities such as requirements analysis, software test design, and performing software/systems testing on Sonobuoy Processors.

In this role you can expect to:

• Perform software test activities and execute verification tests as directed by the Test Lead to ensure design requirements are met;
• Working under guidance from a senior engineer, develop and perform test cases to validate specific requirements;
• Assist in analyzing requirements allocated to the Acoustic Processing System;
• Assist in developing technical documentation; and
• Operate and maintain test simulators and equipment.

Requirements

Education:

• Enrolled as a student in a Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other applicable scientific discipline at a recognized university program.
