Design Director

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Director to join our team! In this role, you will get to direct and coordinate consultant activities in accordance with project/client procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications. You will also serves as the primary point of contact with the client for all design related activities for the project.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected consultants, designers and contractors during the program execution.
• Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key consultants, designers and contractors.
• Participates in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
• Oversees establishment of Design Management Plan, Master Plan Baseline Program, Pre Tender Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Packages, Scope of Services and other documents as required.
• Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
