Data Scientist for Marketing at Saxo Bank

Predictive Modelling and AI

As our new Data Scientist, you will be an integral part of our Predictive Modelling and AI team. You will collaborate closely with our Marketing and Digital Analytics teams, as well as other data scientists and data engineers. Your role will involve building data pipelines using Airflow and Databricks, publishing data to Kafka and Data Lake, and deploying machine learning APIs to Kubernetes, primarily using Python.

THE JOB:

Below are examples of what you can be responsible for:

• Evaluate marketing performance (return on marketing spend) by combining Saxo data with 3rd party data.

• Further develop our lead value score models. The models are used both by sales and marketing to maximize business outcomes.

• Assist in the development of marketing data foundation and establish data flows from marketing engines

• Develop an attribution model (MMM) for marketing and the rest of the organization to assist optimizing spend across markets and channels.

• Correlation and causality analysis on channels and campaigns.

YOUR PROFILE

Your colleagues and friends describe you as methodical, curious, self-motivated and with a logical mindset.

We expect you to be proficient in python or R and further recognize yourself in the below bullets:

• Relevant education or professional experience in Science, Technology, Economics, or Mathematics.

• Experience with time series analysis and state space modelling.

• Prior experience working with Marketing.

• Knowledge of database systems: Efficient in SQL (knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Databricks Delta Lake is a plus).

• ETL skills (knowledge of Apache Airflow, Spark/Databricks, and Kafka).

• Experience with Git.

• Ability to present data in an understandable way (knowledge of PowerBI or similar is a plus).

• Verbal and written English.
