Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an American Registry of Radiographic Technologists (ARRT) approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performs a wide variety of diagnostic examinations, which results in the production of diagnostic radiographs under the supervision of a Radiology Technologist.
• Positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking x-rays following established procedures under the supervision of a Radiology Technologist.
• Follows prescribed safety standards in operating radiographic equipment under the supervision of a Radiology Technologist.
• Assists radiologists in performing routine and/or special procedures under the supervision of a Radiology Technologist. Administers specific contrast and barium solutions as directed by the Radiologist or other physician in accordance with established guidelines.
