Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Civil Engineer (3 to 5 years) to join our team in applying engineering skills to challenging projects. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun!

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required.
• Working towards registration as a Civil Professional Engineer (PE) or already licensed preferred.
• Three to five years of professional engineering experience with design, permitting, and construction related assistance in a variety of market sectors associated with site development or municipal/transportation projects.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations; technical studies; and preparation of site or public improvement, grading, storm water management, and utility plans.
• Experience in coordinating with a multi-discipline design team preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to collaborate with counterparts in other offices to share workload when required.
• Effective technical writing and communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• A positive, can-do-attitude.

Expected annual salary range depending on experience: $69,000 – $87,000
