Our MICU is a 16-bed unit that cares for a wide patient population including diagnoses such as sepsis/septic shock, acute respiratory failure, post cardiac arrest, liver failure, GI bleed. Nurses will use arterial lines, ventilators, intraortic balloon pumps, EKOs, CRRT while caring for their patients.
