ManpowerGroup, on behalf of our client, a luxury hotel in Crete, is looking for a Senior Accounting Officer.

📌 Location: Crete, Greece

🖋️You will be reporting to: Accounting Manager

What you will do:

• General ledger entries
• Posting of invoices
• Updating M.I.S. and creating reports
• Cash management/Cash flow
• EBITDA
• Preparation of financial statements
• Reconciliation of supplier and customer balances
• Communication with suppliers, public authorities, and banks
• Monitoring MyData platform
• Management of investments
• Participation in the submission of tax obligations
• Participation in the process of annual and ad hoc audits by Certified Public Accountants

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting or Economics. A postgraduate degree will be considered an additional qualification.
• At least 10 years of work experience in a company accounting department, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Experience with third-category accounting books.
• Class A license.
• Proven knowledge of Greek and International Accounting Standards (GAS and IFRS).
• Good knowledge of the Tax Reporting Code and knowledge of Commercial Law.
• Knowledge of the Entersoft ERP system and MS Office.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
