Opportunities

You will be involved in the planning and execution of pharmaceutical development programs for innovative products for the company, and working with a team of professionals to develop platform technology for the company. You will also acquire understanding of the scientific knowledge and technical know-how required for pharmaceutical advanced formulation technology. You will build up strength in the competitive environment of local and global pharmaceutical industries.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Degree or above in Chemistry / Traditional Chinese Medicines / Pharmaceutical Science or related disciplines.
• More than 3 years in HPLC analytical method development in pharmaceutical and TCM area.
• Familiar with HPLC, LC/MS and HPTLC instrumentation.
• Independent work with little supervision.
• Knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine is preferred. Understanding the specific marker of TCM responsible for health function is required.
• Able to cope with stress and work in an orderly manner.

Job Duties:

• Look up literature to derive analytical methods for ID test of R&D newly sourced TCM materials.
• Perform method development and assay test of markers in TCM extracts and herbs.
• Operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, LC-MS, and HPTLC etc.
• Prepare analytical method transfer to the QC team. Maintain a database of records, including methodology and results.
• Supervise junior staff in performing their tasks.
• Other R&D duties assigned by supervisor.
• Candidates with more experiences will be considered as Senior Chemist
