Grab’s Omnicommerce team is a group of product managers, strategists, business development professionals, designers, and engineers. Together, our goal is to help restaurants on our platform drive sustainable sales growth by becoming their marketing engine both offline and online. We aim to leverage innovative technologies to help our partners connect with users at physical store locations and empower them to develop a 360 degree view of their customers’ needs. So far, the team has launched payment solutions, dine out deals, restaurant loyalty stampcards, and reservations as our suite of Omnicommerce solutions. We now want to embark into another important in-store customer experience - ordering.

Get to know the Role

We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to spearhead our Restaurant Table Ordering initiative. An MVP of this product is already live in a few markets, and we are excited to build and scale this further.

In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end product experience, catering to the unique needs of different small and larger scale restaurants in region. This will require you to understand problems & opportunities for front-line store staff, restaurant managers and customers.

You will collaborate closely with different platform tech teams, including our payments teams, our POS teams to deliver the best experience for restaurants and consumers. Additionally, you will work closely with strategists and country leads to drive sales enablement and develop go-to-market (GTM) plans for the launch of this new service across Southeast Asia.

Your goal will be to elevate our Table Ordering solution alongside our wider Omnicommerce product offerings.

The Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Shape the overall product vision and oversee the development of the Table Ordering product roadmap.
  • Gather requirements and conduct user research to ensure the team is focused on delivering high-impact projects.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and understand their needs and challenges.
  • Oversee product launches, product marketing, and other go-to-market activities.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure well-understood and well-supported teamwork.
  • Prioritise problem-solving to ensure product improvements address the right needs and deliver value for all parties involved: restaurants, consumers, and Grab.
  • Creatively and rigorously define and communicate product requirements and specifications.
  • Define and analyse metrics to understand what works and what doesn't.
  • Communicate key performance metrics and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organisation.
  • Manage multiple streams of work and collaborate with go-to-market teams to continuously deliver value.

Requirements

The Must-Haves:

  • 5 years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on business facing digital products or services.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products.
  • Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian market, preferably in the dine out space
  • Experience working in restaurant Tech, CRM or POS is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills - Ability to distill insights & articulate an actionable point of view to non-expert audiences; Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders; Good command of storytelling and presentation techniques (e.g. slide making, data visualisation).
  • Problem solving & can do attitude - Willing to learn quickly and understand the root cause of problems; able to work with a multidisciplinary team to propose creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering compelling 0-1 products.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset and experience using data-driven insights to inform product decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
