Technical Lead - Manufacturing Digitalization

• You will work in the area of the Manufacturing Digitalization and will help creating stable and future-proof platform and portfolio for manufacturing IT in Bosch.
• You will work not only on the classic topics in manufacturing planning, execution, quality and maintenance management, but also the topics to shape the transformation of the manufacturing in Cloud/Edge Manufacturing and Industrial Metaverse.
• As a Tech lead/Architect and part of product team and you will be responsible for a global development team to optimize the existing and create the new IT Manufacturing landscape at Bosch.
• Driving new Industry 4.0 use cases as well as the digitalization and standardization of manufacturing processes is part of your responsibilities. In addition, you will assess the existing products and architecture to identify improvements and synergy effects across several products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to gather requirements to shape and define resilient, scalable and reusable IT products.
• Support in identifying industry trends and define architecture and development roadmaps for our products that enable our customer to be highly optimized and efficient.
• Stepping in as Customer advocate to share products and design principles which could enable and guide our customer through digitalization in manufacturing.
• Guide the technical team in PoC, feasibility study, resolving technical problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of professional experience in enterprise software or cloud development (e.g. Java, .NET Core, Node.js, Angular, Vue), database technologies, data warehouse solutions and engineering of data pipelines (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop).
• 5 years of professional experiences with IT Manufacturing and/or Data Analytics of IT Manufacturing, MES and MOM experience is a plus.
• Proven software architecture experience with designing scalable and resilient applications (e.g. Docker, K8S). Strong exposure to architectural design patterns, good understanding of CI/CD technologies and methodologies, good understanding of application migration and integration approaches and infrastructure technologies and very good experience with system modeling languages. very good understanding of different interfaces and messaging
• technologies (e.g. RESTful, MQTT, Kafka).
• Experience of DevOps (e.g. Git, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jenkins) is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile Methodologies, experience with working in Agile projects (SCRUM, Kanban) is a plus.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communications skills, fluent English.
