Automation Engineer

Overall responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team in Industrial Automation and provide expertise in Automation Programming and design and configure HMI / SCADA screens.
• Develop and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
• Handle the team in installation and commissioning of PLC systems, ensuring proper integration with other equipment.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Develop and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
• Design and configure HMI / SCADA screens for operator control and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for PLC programming projects.
• Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct testing and validation of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams regarding PLC systems.
• Stay updated with the latest advancement sin PLC technology and recommend improvement to existing systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for PLC programs, including program logic, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
• Handle the team in installation and commissioning of PLC systems, ensuring proper integration with other equipment.
• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source and procure necessary hardware and software for PLC projects.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechatronics) with sufficient experience (05+ Years) in the related field / industry. Affinity and familiar with Engineering, Procurement and Contracting aspects in the business, both onshore and offshore, power & utility sector.
