Seeds Regulatory Intern

Role purpose
•To provide general support to the South African Traits Regulatory and Product Safety (TRPS) team and assist with the effective day-to-day responsibilities relating to the seeds regulatory environment, such as regulatory submissions, field trials, data capturing, and other adhoc administrative tasks as required.

Accountabilities
•Support TRPS Manager in development of regulatory dossiers and related permit applications
•Support the GM regulatory field trial activities and data collection.
•Control business critical documentation, data capturing and validation in the appropriate information databases/systems/tools e.g. Veeva and Reliance
•Assist with a wide range of projects as and when required
•Perform other general administrative tasks

Requirements

Knowledge, experience & capabilities
•Degree or Diploma Agricultural/ Biological/Agronomy
•Seeds Regulatory knowledge will be advantage
•Agronomic and field trial knowledge is desirable
•Entomology knowledge is desirable
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office
•Excellent planning and organizing skills
