The Role

As our global growth continues we are looking to hire our first specialist tax accountant. Reporting to the Head of Group Tax and based in our offices in Victoria. To be suitable for this role you will be an experienced tax accountant operating in a similar role in industry or looking for a first move out of practice.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Pillar 2 and CbCR reporting
• Maintenance of the tax accounts on a monthly basis in accordance with accounting team’s month end close timetable
• Preparation of tax numbers and disclosures in annual statutory accounts in accordance with the agreed audit timetable and liaising with auditors regarding same
• Preparation of intercompany service charge and interest calculations in accordance with the group’s transfer pricing policy and invoicing same
• Management of intercompany balances and associated documentation, reconciliations / regularisation
• Responsible for ongoing review of group wide entity liquidity position and recommendations as to dividends and further capitalisation.

Requirements

• Proven work experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of appropriate accounting and tax software and MS Office
• Proactive with ability to work independently
• Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems with a collaborative approach
• Analytical skills with detail orientation
• Relevant qualification in accounting.
