The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablets. Your primary focus will be development of iOS SDK and their integration with the client’s application and our back-end services.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced SDK for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatization.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in software development.
• Proficiency with Swift.
• Experience with writing unit tests in the iOS environment.
• Experience in performing code reviews
• Experience in low level iOS development especially working with sensors
• Knowledge in working with databases (specifically SQLite)
• Advantage - knowledge in Kotlin and Android
• Advantage - basic knowledge in machine learning
• Strong technical skills and software engineering
• Fluent english speaking and writing
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

Reporting line:

Reporting to the mobile team manager.
