Hardware Engineering Developer

We are currently looking to hire an Intermediate Hardware Engineering Developer (Obsolescence Mitigation & Component) to join our M1A1 team to analyze electronic component availability and support strategic hardware sustainability. You'll collaborate with Program Teams and manufacturers to identify and mitigate component obsolescence, ensuring seamless manufacturing. You will also support product testing and plan the execution of small projects within the group. • Provide engineering analysis and other related technical analysis and recommendations of component replacements.
• Provide engineering knowledge-based predictive obsolescence surveillance of electronic components.
• Interface with component OEM’s to monitor obsolescence activities and solutions.
• Evaluate and qualify alternative components to replace obsolete parts without compromising product performance or quality.
• Produce and maintain BOM’s/part lists.
• Maintain detailed documentation of obsolescence management activities and decisions.
