The role: Liaison Engineer

Background:

A leading engineering business is looking for a Liaison Engineer to be the key interface between the Production and Engineering function. You will provide in-house support delivering timely support to all related teams ensuring an efficient and compliant function.

Role:

· Investigate and create solutions and disposition non-conformances and concessions when raised during production

· Interpret engineering drawings and facilitate correction of errors on drawings and documents identified during production through processes such as red-lining

· Balance competing needs and requirements to resolve technical solutions between Operations, Suppliers and Engineering

· Develop solutions to a variety of problems of varying scope and complexity following established Company Processes. Reaching back to the wider organisation for support and expertise

· Utilise and understand 3D models, assemblies and installations, system requirements, interface/supplier control drawings, performance specifications, system checkout procedure...
