Overview:

As a Software Engineering Manager for the R&D Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers with technical and leadership expertise. You will manage your project goals, contribute to the product strategy and development and help develop your team, operating with scale and speed. You will own the design and implementation of features/products assigned to your team and be responsible for releasing products on time.

• Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

What You’ll Do:

• Guides teams and leads identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform

• Optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI)

• Guides team to drive project plans, release plans, and work items in coordination with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., Leadership team, Project managers)

• Guides team and monitors other engineers across product lines, work on-call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions

• Leads product development and scaling to customer requirements and applies best practices for meeting scaling needs and performance expectations and holds accountability for products that do not meet expectation

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field

• Master's degree in Computer Science is a plus

• Experience in designing and developing Cloud Native Software as a Service applications (SaaS) running on hyper scaler cloud, or any other cloud providers

• 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#/.NET platforms, Java

• Strong expertise with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment

• Expertise in at least one hyperscaler technology and experience in developing applications on the hyperscaler platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Hands-on Experience in C#/.NET Platforms

• 1 to 2 years of people management experience required

• Prior experience in building .NET applications and experience with Microsoft ecosystem is preferred
