Bumble is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead strategic marketing efforts across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You will be responsible for crafting and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive brand growth and market expansion. In this role, you'll collaborate with global teams, manage high-impact projects, and inspire a dedicated team to achieve ambitious goals. This is a hybrid role based in London, UK.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the integrated marketing strategy definition and brand plan development for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), through deep understanding of the customer, brand, market, and commercial priorities and identification of new growth opportunities
  • Cross-Functional Project Management: Oversee high-impact, cross-functional strategic projects. Work closely with the Brand, Product, and Growth Marketing teams to ensure successful and efficient rollouts.
  • Budget Management: Manage the allocation of budgets across marketing activities to achieve specific business goals. Ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with business priorities
  • Integrated Campaign Development: Manage external agencies and internal resources to develop and execute the most impactful integrated campaigns. Responsibilities include briefing, providing strategic feedback, overseeing production as well as leading media planning, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business objectives across all media channels.
  • Campaign Measurement and Optimisation: Ensure all marketing campaigns are rigorously measured and continuously optimised based on results. Collaborate closely with analytics teams to devise measurement plans for high-impact marketing programs.
  • Innovation in Marketing: Continuously add and experiment with new marketing tactics and initiatives while solidifying proven channels to drive growth. Champion a test-and-learn approach to demonstrate the incrementality and ROI of marketing spend. Ensure tight oversight, management, and optimization of country marketing budgets
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with stakeholders across central and regional teams, including marketing, product, operations, commercial strategy, and external agencies. Regularly report progress and results to a variety of stakeholders, ensuring cross-functional alignment around goals and objectives
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a Marketing Manager. Foster a culture of collaboration and learning, recognise strengths, and create development opportunities.

Who You Are:

  • 5-7 + years of experience in marketing within the technology / social connection platforms, with the responsibility of developing and executing marketing strategies and large campaigns.
  • Experience in online and offline marketing, with proven ability to successfully develop and execute integrated, multi-channel, customer-centric campaigns
  • Competent in sourcing and reviewing performance data and analytics leading to new strategies against key business metrics, including short-term acquisition and long-term brand health.
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Driven to support the business to grow the user base & revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to translate key insights and data into detailed marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Hands-on style of working and management, willing to roll up sleeves and work with teams versus delegating to others.
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders within tight timelines
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Deep pop cultural knowledge of markets in DACH, in particular Germany.
  • Native level German, fluent English.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, and multiple competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written), comfortable communicating at all levels in a business.
  • You’re a self-starter who thrives on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight
  • Able to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • You work well in a cross-functional and cross-cultural team environment.
  • You are happiest in a fast-paced environment but know when to balance moving fast against breaking things.
