As the Operations Specialist for In-Store Payments at Salonized, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing the operational aspects of Salonized Pay. Your responsibilities will include ensuring seamless integration with our existing salon software, providing first-line support, and serving as a key liaison between the product development team and our partner salons. All with the goal of delivering a smooth and efficient experience for our users.

  • Customer onboarding: Guide new users through the KYC process, ensuring they complete verification smoothly by providing clear instructions, answering questions, and troubleshooting any issues along the way.
  • Operational oversight: Take ownership of the operational strategy for Salonized Pay. Handle the ordering and shipping logistics of payment terminals to salons and customize the payment setup, pricing, and terminal configurations.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain Salonized Pay documentation, including training materials, user guides, and operational procedures. Create comprehensive support articles and resources to assist salons and troubleshoot common issues.
  • Team training: Develop and deliver training for internal teams involved in the Salonized Pay project, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to support the product effectively.
  • Issue resolution: Work closely with the product development team, our external payment provider, and internal teams to seamlessly integrate Salonized Pay with our salon software. Serve as the first line of support for the Customer Support team on matters related to Salonized Pay.
  • Voice of the user: Act as the direct line of communication between the product development team and partner salons, effectively conveying feedback and necessary modifications. Keep track of usage statistics and issue logs, recommending areas for improvement or further development. These are the skills you’ll bring and develop in this position:
  • 1-2 years of experience in an operations or customer service capacity, or similar role, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with payment processing systems is a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
