Our Business Development team is looking for a skilled pricing and operations analyst with experience in dynamic ticket pricing for live events. Our team develops partnerships across the live events value chain with sports teams, leagues, concert promoters, festival organizers, and other rights holders and venues. This person will play a critical role on the team, using historical data, market trends, and knowledge of live events to help StubHub’s partners optimize yield.

This role can be based out of our Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, or Washington DC office and has a hybrid (3 in-person days per week) work schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Using in-house and third-party tools to manage and distribute live events tickets in accordance with defined pricing strategies and broader business objectives
  • Setting and evaluating ticket pricing and distribution strategies across a range of live event types to maximize yield while managing risk
  • Analyzing historical transaction data and monitoring live events trends (e.g., weather, performance, etc.) to inform pricing decisions
  • Assisting with periodic internal and external sales and partnership reporting, as needed
  • Tracking yield performance, defining key metrics, and preparing periodic reports for leadership

What You've Done

  • 1+ years of related work experience
  • Demonstrated work experience pricing and distributing live events tickets via secondary marketplaces
  • Ability to read primary and secondary market trends in order to make adjustments
  • Understanding P&L reporting and how this will affect decisions
  • Identifying broadcasting strategies to ensure we have the probability to selling to each type of buyer but ensuring not to saturating the market
  • Experience using sales data to inform pricing and/or yield forecasting
  • Deep familiarity with the US sports landscape and knowledge of the live events ecosystem, including ticket resale marketplaces
  • Ability to perform quick math and strong problem solving and critical thinking
  • Proven track record with being a trusted, reliable team member
  • Flexibility of scheduling

The anticipated gross base annual salary range for this role is $79,100 - $99,950 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
